My Home Facial Routine

My home facial routine is pretty simple. There is nothing fussy or elaborate about it (unless you think that having a home facial routine is too much). Honestly, my skin needs it: I work out and my face gets dirty. And, on top of that, in the spring and summer, my skin gets oily and in the fall and winter, it gets dry. So there’s always a reason to put on a face mask!

I use face masks only once or twice per week: because I have a usual skincare routine, I use my home facial as a skin pick-me-up and not as the main thing. So, if you’re interested in seeing what I use for my home facial, then keep reading…

Step One (pick a mask):

SCHMEARnaturals Hibiscus + Pomegranate Antioxidant Face Mask

SCHMEARnaturals Turmeric + Coconut Calming Face Mask

SCHMEARnaturals Kale + Spirulina Clarifying Face Mask

Key Ingredients: Colloidal Oat, Coconut Oil, Kale, Organic Spirulina, Organic Aloe Vera, Organic Alfalfa Grass, Apricot Meal, Green Tea Extract

Step two: mix the mask…

Step three: apply the mask

Step four: Rinse the mask off with warm water…

Step four: spritz a balancing toner…

SCHMEARnaturals Aloe Vera + Blue Pea Balancing Toner

Step five: apply a facial oil

SCHMEARnaturals Argan + Tamanu Clarifying Face Oil (typically, I’ll finish with this oil when I use the Kale + Spirulina Clarifying Mask).

SCHMEARnaturals Rosehip + Sea Buckthorn Antioxidant Face Oil
( I finish with this when I use the Tumeric calming mask or the Hibiscus & Pomegranate Antioxidant Mask).

Final Thoughts

I like this brand because they included instructions for how to amp up your home facial routine (re tea, honey, or yogurt instead of just water):

My skin is definitely doing well under this home facial routine.

Do you have a home facial routine? If so, what does it involve?
