My Spring & Summer Shoe Capsule

I don’t typically wear open-toed shoes (unless I’m at a beach or getting a pedicure) because they’re just not safe! Closed-toed shoes are still chic, they feel more secure, and I don’t have to worry about them breaking on me.

Short Storytime: When I was at Pickering Go Station getting ready to take a final exam at York University, one of my strappy sandals broke! I ended up using elastic bands to hold my broken shoe in place because I had no time to go home and change. Since that incident, I have avoided open-toed sandals like the plague!

Anyways, I would like to introduce you to the closed-toe shoes that will be covering my feet this spring and summer. They are…

Clarks Animal Print Kitten Heel Pumps from AllForAngie

If you saw my last post, where I shared what I had recently purchased for spring 2019, then you already know all about my neutral coloured silk and linen blouses from ImprovGoods! I love the idea of wearing a silk blouse with a black or blue bag and this shoe. I’m so excited to put that look together!

Burgundy Booties

I bought these at Payless a few years ago and I still love them! They’re perfect for when the snow has finally left us but it’s still too cold to expose the top of my feet. You know, those crisp but dry spring days?! I wear them with skirts, jeans, and any other combination that you can imagine.

Black & Brown Leather Loafers from WearingMeOutVtg

These are going to be perfect with denim skirts and pants, denim shorts, cropped trousers, and much more! I plan on living in them this spring and summer.

Black Christian Siriano for Payless Pointy Flats & Lace – Look White Oxfords

I just love these! They’re so sleek and stylish! I can easily dress them up with a nice leather or fabric skirt or dress them down with denim. I can’t wait to wear them!

I don’t even remember how long I’ve had these, but it’s been years! I love the versatility of these lace-like loafers. They’re so comfortable and give the best subtle statement. I adore them!

Floral Pointy & Rounded Flats

I’ve had both of these shoes for quite a few years now, and I can’t wait to wear them again this spring and summer! I envision the white floral shoes with white jeans or a white denim skirt and a silk blouse, and I see the blue floral shoes with just about anything!

Yellow Suede Pumps from RetroWaveInc

I don’t wear heels every day, but these are so chic that I’m really looking forward to breaking them out with a floaty dress or denim shorts.

Blue Strappy Sandals from RedLuckOnline

I had just one vision for these strappy pumps, and that was to wear them with my vintage blue plaid Escada blazer, my satin blue cami, and my light-wash blue jeans! But these can work with blue jeans of any shade or even a blue, black, or grey silk or satin summer slip dress. I can’t wait!

And that’s a wrap on my spring and summer shoe capsule! I’m wondering what shoes you can’t live without! Let me know (in one way or another)!
